Mitsubishi Research Institute and SIRC Sign MoU to transform waste recycling sector in Saudi Arabia

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), to form a strategy for advancing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s national waste management agenda in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.

The partnership will focus on developing an R&D strategy and capacity-building program for SIRC. MRI will also provide a gateway for SIRC to collaborate with companies, startups, and government organizations in Japan.

MRI and SIRC have also agreed, through these activities, to explore the possibility of joint business opportunities.
