TOKYO, Japan - The Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI), released the English summary of its report "Future Society 2050" (the Japanese version was released on 11 October 2019).

The first chapter of this publication includes a proposal on creating an affluent and sustainable world by 2050, and describes six major global trends that will be seen throughout the next thirty years. The second chapter is devoted to analyzing the Japanese economy and society, and includes proposals for Japanese governments and firms.
