Tokyo, Japan (July 12, 2023)—Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI) announced a new set of services in collaboration with GHD to help the Middle East achieve its energy transition. The services are tailored to public sector clients in the region and cover both consulting and business support.
The new services are the fruit of a half-year of work between MRI and GHD, starting with their MoU signed in January 2023. The pair aim to help transform energy strategy in the region by creating new businesses, such as support for introducing decarbonization technologies and consulting on future energy strategies.
Takashi Endo, General Manager of MRI’s Middle East Regional Office, said, “The Middle East is a key region that will have a tremendous impact on energy security as well as the Net Zero Challenge in Asia and around the world. MRI looks forward to working with GHD in this important region to provide clients with viable solutions backed by policy, business, and technical expertise.”

Since establishing its Middle East Regional Office in Dubai in 2021, MRI has worked to support policymaking and organize projects related to climate change countermeasures in the region. MRI continues to grow its presence in this region.
